The Houston Symphony Juneteenth Concert - June 3rd at 7:30PM

This summer marks the 150th anniversary of Juneteenth. Join the Houston Symphony as we recognize this significant milestone and holiday as we perform works that celebrate freedom for all including Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man and Lincoln Portrait, narrated by Mirron Willis; John Williams' Hymn to the Fallen; and works by African-American Composers including William Dawson's O' Let Me Shine and Roland Carter's Lift Every Voice and Sing. This concert will also feature the CityWide Grassroots Chorus singing with the Houston Symphony.
