ENROLL AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY!
The Dr. Richard E. Wainerdi Wellness Institute and The Fountain of Praise Wellness Ministry in partnership with the American Cancer Society will host enrollment for a historic study on Sunday, May 19, 2013. The American Cancer Society is seeking adults ages 30 through 65, who have never had cancer (except for squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma, to enroll in the Cancer Prevention Study 3 to determine how genetics, lifestyle and the enviornment work together to cause or prevent cancer. Partipants must be willing to give a small blood smaple, be measured and commit to completing periodic surveys at home over a 20 year period.
We are asking The Fountain of Praise membership to consider volunteering for this research study as a Community Champion and/or a Study Participant.
American Cancer Society Representatives and TFOP Community Champions will be be onsite over the next several weeks provding information on the study and requesting participants. Our official enrollment day is Sunday, May 19, 2013 8:30AM - 2:00PM at 13950 Hillcroft Avenue, Houston, TX 77085.

About CPS-3
CPS-3 is a grassroots effort where local communities from across the country can support cancer research not just through fundraising efforts, but also by participating actively in this historic research study. The goal of CPS-3 is to better understand the factors (lifestyle, environmental, genetic) that cause or prevent cancer and, ultimately, to help eliminate cancer as a major health concern for future generations.

There are nearly 13.7 million people in America who have survived cancer and countless more who have avoided it - who will be celebrating birthdays this year. You can join the movement for more birthdays and fight back against cancer by enrolling in the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).
The ultimate goal is to enroll at least 300,000 adults from various racial and ethnic backgrounds from across the U.S. By joining CPS-3, you can help us understand how to prevent cancer, which will save lives and give people more of their most precious resource - time.
